Folders for Site Reviews

Reviews arrive every day from forms on many pages. Soon the list mixes products, services, imported reviews and test entries from the setup.

Plathix PRO adds a private folder panel to the reviews list in wp-admin. Group reviews by product, branch or task and open one folder at a time. Approval, ratings, categories and assigned pages stay as they are.

One long list

A thousand reviews and one list to scroll

All Reviews shows every review at once: new and old, approved and unapproved, for every product, page and person they belong to.

Site Reviews has filters for rating, type and assigned page. Its categories have a job too: shortcodes and blocks use them to choose which reviews a page shows. So a category is not a good place for notes like ‘to answer’ or ‘imported’.

In people’s words

Thousands of ratings, one list to work through

Site owners with a lot of customer feedback describe the work behind the stars, not the stars themselves.

More than 160,000 entries. Approving and deleting them is starting to get tedious.

To show which service each one is about, the plan was to type [VIDEO] by hand at the start of every entry.

A client has four locations, and each location page should show only its own ratings.

Years of older feedback arrive in one import, from an old database or from another plugin.

Folders sort that feedback for your team: by product, branch or task. Categories and assigned pages still decide what each page shows.

Folders for the work behind your reviews

By product or service

Keep the reviews of each product together, so you can read them before you update its page.

To answer

Reviews that need a public reply or a call from your team wait in one folder until someone takes them.

By branch

Each branch or shop gets a folder. Managers read their reviews without scrolling past the others.

Imported and old

Reviews moved in from another platform or from years ago get their own folder. They stay published if you want them to.

Test entries

Test reviews from setting up the forms go in one folder, ready to delete when the site goes live.

What you get

A folder panel for All Reviews

A folder tree next to the list

The panel sits beside All Reviews. Click a folder and the list shows only its reviews.

Status tabs inside a folder

Approved and Unapproved work inside the open folder, so you see what still waits for a decision.

Counts per folder

Folder counts include approved and unapproved reviews. Trash is not counted.

A link for each folder

The address changes when you open a folder, so you can bookmark it or send it to a teammate.

Review folders FAQ

Do folders change which reviews my pages show?
No. Shortcodes and blocks choose reviews by their own settings, such as assigned page or category. Folders live in wp-admin only.
Can I use a folder instead of a category?
For your own work, yes. To show a group of reviews on a page, keep using categories or assigned pages.
Will I see a Folder column?
Site Reviews controls the columns of its list, so we do not promise one. The folder panel shows which folder is open.
Where do new reviews go?
Into Uncategorized, until you put them in a folder.
Is this in Plathix Free?
No. Content folders are part of Plathix PRO. Free organizes the Media Library.
