Plathix PRO Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply when you buy a Plathix PRO licence. They apply in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Plathix PRO is sold by Aleksei Romashov, SZČO, a sole trader established in Slovakia. Full seller details are in section 14.

1. What Plathix PRO is

Plathix PRO is a premium add-on plugin for self-hosted WordPress. It works together with the free Plathix plugin, which must be installed and active. PRO adds the features listed on the Plathix PRO page, such as per-role folder access and upload permissions, the gallery shortcode, bulk ZIP downloads, the audit log and WP-CLI commands.

Plathix PRO is software. A purchase gives you a licence key, plugin updates and priority email support for the licence term. It does not include any work carried out on your website by us.

2. How to buy

Plathix PRO is currently supplied on request. Send a request through the support form (topic “PRO / billing”) or to hello@plathix.com and tell us which plan you need. We send you an invoice. After the invoice is paid, we send you the Plathix PRO plugin file and your licence key by email.

Where online checkout is available, orders are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for those orders. For such orders, Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms also apply to payment, taxes, invoices and refunds.

3. Plans and prices

Plathix PRO is sold as a yearly licence:

  • Pro · 1 site — €69 per year
  • Pro · 3 sites — €99 per year
  • Agency · 15 sites — €190 per year

All plans include all PRO features. The plan sets how many WordPress sites the licence key can be active on at the same time. Prices are in euros. Any VAT or other tax that applies is shown on the invoice or at checkout.

4. Licence term and renewal

A licence runs for one year from the date it is issued. The License screen in Plathix PRO shows the expiry date.

  • Bought on request (invoice): the licence does not renew automatically. To continue for another year, ask us for a renewal invoice.
  • Bought through online checkout: the licence is a yearly subscription that renews automatically at the end of each year until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date. The licence then stays active until the end of the year you have paid for.

5. Licence key and activation

  • You activate the key in WordPress under Plathix → License.
  • The key can be active on as many sites at the same time as your plan allows.
  • To move the licence to another site, deactivate it on the old site (Plathix → License → Deactivate) and activate it on the new one.
  • Keep the key private. A key that is published, resold or used to get around the site limit may be disabled.

6. Software licence (GPL)

Plathix PRO code is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, like Plathix Free. Nothing in these Terms of Sale restricts rights granted to you directly by the GPL.

What you pay for is the licence key, access to PRO updates and priority email support for the licence term. These are separate from the GPL. The GPL also does not grant rights to the Plathix name or logo.

7. When a licence ends

A licence ends when it expires, when a subscription is cancelled and the paid year is over, or when it is refunded. PRO features then stop working on your sites, and PRO updates and priority support stop. The free Plathix plugin keeps working. Your folders, media files and settings are not deleted. If you renew, PRO features become available again.

8. Licence checks

To confirm that a key is valid, Plathix PRO connects over HTTPS to the licensing service of Lemon Squeezy when you activate the key and regularly afterwards. It sends the licence key and the domain name of your site.

If the licensing service cannot be reached, PRO keeps working for up to 3 days. If it still cannot be reached after that, PRO features are switched off until you activate the key again under Plathix → License.

If a check confirms that a key is no longer valid while PRO is in use on a site, the plugin sends us an email from that site with the site address and the licence status. The licence key is not included in that email.

9. Updates

While your licence is active, new versions of Plathix PRO appear in WordPress under Dashboard → Updates and can be installed like any other plugin update.

10. Support

While your licence is active, you get priority email support through the support form or hello@plathix.com. Support is help with the software: installing, configuring and using Plathix and Plathix PRO, and looking into suspected bugs.

Support does not include services on your website, such as moving or migrating sites or content, server administration, design or custom development. Importing folders from other folder plugins is a feature of the plugin that you run yourself.

11. 14-day money-back guarantee

If Plathix PRO does not suit you, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of payment. Write to hello@plathix.com and include your invoice or order number. You do not have to give a reason. After the refund, the licence key is disabled.

Refunds for orders placed through online checkout are issued by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. This guarantee is in addition to any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

12. Compatibility, warranties and liability

Sections 5 (Compatibility), 6 (Backups and site administration), 8 (Disclaimer), 9 (Limitation of liability) and 12 (Applicable law and consumer rights) of our Terms of Use apply to Plathix PRO in the same way as to Plathix Free.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms of Sale when Plathix PRO, our prices or applicable requirements change. The version shown at the time of your purchase or renewal applies to that purchase or renewal.
