FREE FEATURE Ready Folder Sets for WordPress

Start with a folder structure that already makes sense

Building a folder tree from a blank screen takes time. Ready Folder Sets give you a starting structure for your Media Library.

Apply one set or combine several. Then rename, add, remove, or recolor folders as your workflow changes.

The blank tree

You need folders. The hard part is deciding how to start.

A blank folder tree creates another job: deciding the names, groups, and nesting before you organize anything.

Ready Folder Sets give you a starting structure. You keep what fits and change what does not.

Agency

Start new client sites with a familiar media structure instead of rebuilding the same folders each time.

Marketing

Start with places for campaigns, brand assets, social graphics, email, and other recurring media.

Online store

Separate product photos, banners, documents, and brand files before the Media Library turns into one long list.

Publisher

Give article images, editorial assets, press files, and recurring content a clear starting place.

The collection

Choose a starting point

Plathix includes a growing collection of Ready Folder Sets for common website workflows.

Choose a set for stores, agencies, blogs, restaurants, real estate, nonprofits, publishers, fashion, and more.

You do not need an exact match. Apply one set or several, then change the structure to fit your site.

New Ready Folder Sets can be added in future updates.

A store can start like this

E-Commerce

Products
  Electronics
  Clothing
  Home & Garden
Banners
Brand
  Logos
  Icons

What this solves

Product photos, sale banners, and brand files stop competing for the same flat space.

The set creates folders only. Your existing media stays where it is until you move it yourself.

Applying a set

Apply a structure without moving your files

Applying a Ready Folder Set creates empty folders. It does not delete, move, or re-upload media.

If a folder name already exists, Plathix keeps both. The imported folder gets an "- imported" suffix.

This also means you can apply another Ready Folder Set later without replacing the folders you already use.

Changed your mind? You can remove all the folders at once instead of deleting them one by one. See how →

Nothing is auto-sorted

A Ready Folder Set gives you the structure. You decide which existing files belong in each folder.

After you apply

Change the structure after you apply it

A Ready Folder Set is a starting point, not a locked template.

Rename folders to match your team language.
Add folders when a project needs more detail.
Remove folders you will never use.
Use colors and favorites for active areas.

Scope

Media Library first

Ready Folder Sets currently build folders for the WordPress Media Library. This is the same in Free and PRO.

Ready Folder Sets start with the Media Library. More Plathix folder types are planned for future updates.

For now, use them for product images, campaign graphics, PDFs, logos, photos, and other media.

Media Library first

PRO can add other folder areas, but Ready Folder Sets currently build Media Library folders. More folder types are planned.

Reuse

Build once. Reuse the structure on another site.

This is useful when an agency has a folder structure that already works across client sites.

Export the structure from Plathix → Tools. The export contains the folder structure, not the media files.

Upload that structure on another site and use it as the next starting point.

Useful for handoff

The next site can start with the same folder logic without copying the client’s media.

Custom sets

Bring your own folder set

You can upload a custom preset ZIP when the built-in sets are not close enough.

This gives agencies and repeat site builders room for larger internal templates.

No online preset catalog

Preset data stays on your site. Plathix does not send it to an online catalog.

Reset

Want to remove the whole folder structure?

"Start from scratch" removes all user-created folders. Your media files stay in WordPress.

There is no one-click undo after applying or resetting a structure. Remove unwanted folders carefully.

Use Start from scratch only when you mean it

It clears the folder tree. It does not delete the media files.

Start with a structure you can change

You do not need to design the perfect folder tree before you organize your Media Library.

Apply one Ready Folder Set or combine several. Change what you need, then start sorting the files already in WordPress.
