Compatibility
Does Plathix work where you actually choose media?
Plathix adds its folder tree to the standard WordPress media modal. Many editors, builders, and plugins use that modal, but we verify each workflow separately before marking it as tested. Each compatibility page publishes the versions, checks, results, and known limitations.
Latest compatibility run: 22 Sep 2026
Additional integrations tested
These integrations were included in the same compatibility regression runs. They passed the workflows listed below, but do not yet have dedicated evidence pages.

Not tested yet
Our first run with WPML 4.9.2 did not get far. After activation the test site ran into problems in wp-admin and the REST API, so we paused the check rather than publish a result we could not stand behind.
We plan to test again on WPML 4.9.2 and 4.9.7.
These builders are not currently part of our compatibility test environment.
We only mark a workflow as compatible after we test it directly.
How we test compatibility
Each check runs in a browser on a WordPress test site with the product installed. The test opens the real editor, media picker, or settings screen and performs the user action being checked.
A check passes only when its expected result is confirmed through the interface, DOM, REST response, or another defined assertion.
Each compatibility page lists the WordPress, PHP, Plathix, and integration versions used in that run.
The compatibility suite is rerun for Plathix releases and relevant major integration updates. The date on each card is the most recent completed compatibility test.
Not seeing your builder or plugin?
This list covers what we have actually tested, not everything Plathix works with. If the tool you use is missing, tell us and we will put it in the queue.
Say which plugin or theme you use and what you need to be sure of before installing. We publish the result either way — including when something does not work.
Why the same folders can work across workflows
Plathix organizes WordPress attachments with virtual folders. Moving a file between Plathix folders does not move the physical upload or change its attachment ID.
That lets the same Media Library organization appear across tested WordPress media workflows without changing existing file locations.
