Building on Plathix? Shortcode attributes, hooks, REST routes and WP-CLI commands are one click away, in the same WordPress admin you are already working in.
Plathix PRO adds a Docs page with four tabs. Each entry lists its parameters, and many come with an example.
Look it up without leaving wp-admin
Shortcodes
All 20 attributes of [plathix_gallery], each with its default: folders, layout, columns, sorting, links and lightbox options. Ready examples sit below the table.
Hooks & Filters
28 hooks in five groups: Gallery, Folders, Sidebar UI, Access & Features and File Handling. Each entry shows its type and parameters, and 16 include sample code.
REST API
20 routes under /wp-json/plathix/v1: folders, files, Replace Media, ZIP, the audit log, preferences and favorites. Each route lists the permission it needs and its parameters.
WP-CLI
17 commands with their flags, from folder create to integrity-repair. Required and optional flags are marked.
What you can connect to
Change what a gallery loads
plathix/gallery/query_args changes the query before a gallery fetches its files.
Get gallery data, not HTML
plathix/gallery/render_mode can return the items as a JSON array.
React to folder changes
plathix/folder/created fires after a new folder is created. Updated and deleted have their own hooks.
React to a replaced file
plathix/replace/attachment_replaced fires after a file has been replaced.
Add to the admin screens
plathix/admin/settings_tabs adds a settings tab, plathix/dashboard/widgets adds a widget to Home.
Set your own limits
plathix/user/access_level overrides a user's level, plathix/svg/max_upload_bytes sets the SVG size limit.
Before you rely on it
For administrators
The page opens for administrators with Full access in Plathix.
Needs an active licence
Developer Docs is part of PRO. Without an active licence the page is not available.
Hooks meant for integrations
The tab lists what you can build on from outside the plugin. Internal mechanics are left out, because they can change with the implementation.
A reference, not a walkthrough
It tells you what exists and how to call it. Step-by-step help for site owners is in the public documentation.
How we test the reference
We check the reference against a live site with Plathix PRO.
Status Planned
Results go to Plathix Lab. Each row turns into a link once it has run.
| Check | What we verify | Status |
|---|---|---|
| All four tabs | Each tab opens and its content matches the installed version | Planned |
| Shortcode examples | Each example from the Shortcodes tab renders on a page | Planned |
| Hook examples | Sample code from the Hooks & Filters tab runs as described | Planned |
| Access | An account without Full access cannot open the page | Planned |
