Folders for Estatik listings
Estatik’s My listings screen can find a property by address, price or type. It cannot keep the groups your office works with: one development, one owner, one task.
Plathix PRO adds private folders to that list. Put each project, owner or task in its own folder and open just the one you need. Listing pages, categories and statuses stay as they are.
Estatik filters by type and status. Your office thinks in projects and owners.
Estatik puts its own filter block above the list: search by title, ID or address, then category, status, type and more. That finds a listing when you know what to look for.
It does not keep your own groups: the flats of one new development, the listings of one owner, the properties waiting for new photos.
The usual workaround is a category or a label. Those have their own pages on your site, so “Owner B” or “Photos to retake” would be public.
Sold, closed and imported: the list keeps growing
People who run Estatik sites talk about what stays after a sale and what arrives with every import.
Sync a large number of properties, and a real estate site gets huge really fast.
The MLS import should bring in only the last twelve months, and that date should move forward by itself.
Sold properties stay on the site. They should sit at the bottom of the results, or look greyed out.
Closed listings should be cleared out after twelve months, on a rolling window, without doing it by hand.
Folders keep projects, owners and closed listings apart in wp-admin. Nothing changes on the site.
Folders for the way your agency works
By development
Keep the units of one new building together, without a public category or label for the project.
By owner
Owners with several properties get one folder each. When an owner calls, all their listings are on one screen.
By agent
Split the list by the agent who handles each listing, so a handover takes one folder, not a long search.
Work to do
Photos to retake, prices to review, texts to translate. A folder works as a to-do list next to the listings.
Closed listings, kept for now
Sold and rented listings you keep for your records go to a folder for their year, until you decide what to do with them. Their pages and statuses stay as they are.
A folder tree next to My listings
A folder tree next to the list
The panel sits beside Estatik’s My listings screen. Click a folder and the list shows only its listings.
A Folder column
Every row shows its folder; click it to open that folder.
Drafts are counted too
A folder counts what the All view shows: published, scheduled, draft, pending and private listings. Trash is not counted.
A link for each folder
The address changes when you open a folder, so you can bookmark a project or send it to a teammate.
Estatik never sees your folders
| What you do | What changes | What stays as it is |
|---|---|---|
| Put a listing in a folder | Its Plathix folder | The listing, its category, type, status and labels |
| Unpublish a listing | Its status: draft | Its folder: it stays where you filed it |
| Change its category or status in Estatik | What visitors see in search and on the listing | Its folder |
| Rename or move a folder | The folder tree in wp-admin | Listing pages and category pages on your site |
| Turn Plathix PRO off | My listings looks as before, without the panel | Your folders wait in the database and come back |
Folders have no URLs and never appear on the site.
How we test Estatik listings
We run each check on a live site with Plathix PRO and the current Estatik version, on the real My listings screen.
Status Planned
Results go to Plathix Lab. Each row turns into a link once it has run.
| Check | What we verify | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Enable listings | Turn on Estatik listings in Enabled Sections; the panel appears on My listings. | Planned |
| Estatik layout | The folder panel next to Estatik’s own header and filter block. | Planned |
| Estatik filters | Folder filter together with Estatik’s search, category, status and type filters. | Planned |
| Bulk actions | Estatik’s Publish and Draft bulk actions inside a folder. | Planned |
| Unpublish | A listing set to draft stays in its folder. | Planned |
