Import source
HappyFiles compatibility

ProductHappyFiles media folders
Plathix Free can import a HappyFiles folder tree. HappyFiles stores folders as a WordPress taxonomy (happyfiles_category), so the adapter reads the terms, their parent links and the attachments assigned to them. Nesting is carried over. The import copies the structure — it does not move files on disk and does not change attachment IDs.

Known limitations
None found in the workflows we tested.
Test setup
- Install and activate Plathix alongside HappyFiles. Nothing in HappyFiles needs changing.
- Open Plathix → Tools. A detected import source is listed there with the number of folders found.
- Run the import and compare the resulting tree with the HappyFiles one.
Retest
Planned for the first migration test run; repeated on HappyFiles major releases.
