Import source
FileBird compatibility

ProductFileBird media folders
Plathix Free can import a FileBird folder tree. FileBird keeps its folders in its own database tables rather than in a WordPress taxonomy, so the Plathix adapter reads them directly: the folder list with its parent links, and the file-to-folder assignments. Nesting is carried over. The import copies the structure — it does not move files on disk and does not change attachment IDs.

Known limitations
None found in the workflows we tested.
Test setup
- Install and activate Plathix alongside FileBird. Nothing in FileBird needs changing.
- Open Plathix → Tools. A detected import source is listed there with the number of folders found.
- Run the import and compare the resulting tree with the FileBird one.
Retest
Planned for the first migration test run; repeated on FileBird major releases.
