ProductWP Media Folder by JoomUnited
Plathix Free can import a WP Media Folder tree. The plugin stores folders as a WordPress taxonomy (wpmf-category), so the adapter reads the terms, their parent links and the attachments assigned to them. Its root container is recognised and not imported as a folder of its own. The import copies the structure — it does not move files on disk and does not change attachment IDs.

Known limitations
None found in the workflows we tested.
Test setup
- Install and activate Plathix alongside WP Media Folder. Nothing in that plugin needs changing.
- Open Plathix → Tools. A detected import source is listed there with the number of folders found.
- Run the import and compare the resulting tree with the WP Media Folder one.
Retest
Planned for the first migration test run; repeated on WP Media Folder major releases.
