Folders for agencies and web studios
A client site can have 50 pages, 200 pages, or far more — plus templates, legal pages, old versions, and redesign work.
Separate them by client, project, stage, or handoff so the next person does not have to decode the site first. Plathix PRO adds the folder tree to Pages, Posts and the template lists of page builders.
Fifty pages under five parents, and nobody knows why
A site you inherit or hand over carries years of decisions: pages under parents that only made sense to the last developer, old versions kept just in case, templates nobody dares to delete.
Moving pages under new parents changes their addresses. Renaming them changes what visitors see in menus and titles. So the mess stays.
Folders sort the admin for the people who work in it, and leave the public structure alone.
Folders that match how a studio works
By client or project
One folder per client site section or per project, so everyone opens the same place.
By stage
Draft, review, done, to delete. Move pages along as the work moves.
Legal and fixed pages
Imprint, privacy, terms: the pages nobody should edit by accident.
Templates you reuse
Saved builder templates by type or client, ready for the next page.
Handoff
What the client needs to see first when the site is theirs.
Pages, templates and the builder lists you use
Each list gets its own tree. Saved templates of page builders that use a standard WordPress list can be filed like pages.
Built in
Fields and types
Clear roles, no surprises
WordPress permissions first
People who can publish a content type manage its folder tree. People who can edit an item can file it.
PRO role levels on top
Full, Upload, View or None per role, so a client editor can file pages without reshaping the tree.
Quick Edit in the list
Move a page to another folder without opening the editor.
The site structure stays the one you built
| What you do | What changes | What stays as it is |
|---|---|---|
| Put a page in a folder | Its Plathix folder | URL, parent page, menu, template |
| File a template under “Approved” | The folder tree in wp-admin | Pages that use the template |
| Rename “Client A” | The folder tree in wp-admin | Every page on the site |
| Delete a folder by mistake | It goes to the Content Folder Trash | You can restore the folder from there |
| Turn Plathix PRO off | The lists look like plain WordPress | Your folders wait in the database and come back |
Folders have no URLs and never appear in menus or on the site.
