Folders for directories, properties and jobs

A directory with 1,000+ listings still has old properties, expired vacancies, locations, and archived entries that need to stay in WordPress.

Separate current listings from older records by type, location, client, or stage. Plathix PRO adds a private folder tree to the listing lists of your directory, property or job plugin. Listing pages, maps and search stay as they are.

Old records stay

Expired, sold, closed, and still in the list

Listings end, but they rarely disappear. A sold property keeps its page for search, an expired vacancy is reused next year, a closed shop stays in the directory history.

So the admin list mixes what is live today with years of older records, and the plugin’s own statuses do not always match how your team works.

Folders by stage, location, client or year separate current listings from the rest, without changing what visitors find.

Active, sold, expired: the records you still keep, sorted the way you work.

By location

By agent or client

Archive by year

Older records out of your daily list, still in WordPress.

Content Folders for listings FAQ

Do folders change a listing’s status or expiry date?
No. Status, expiry, price and location stay as the plugin set them. A folder only changes the admin view.
Can visitors see the folders?
No. Folders are not listing categories or locations and never appear on the site.
Which listing plugins work?
Plugins that keep listings in standard WordPress lists, such as WP Job Manager, GeoDirectory, Directorist, Houzez and Estatik. Each plugin page shows which lists get folders.
Can I keep sold or expired listings without deleting them?
Yes. Move them to a folder. They stay in WordPress, and on the site if they were published.
Is this in Plathix Free?
No. Content folders are part of Plathix PRO. Free organizes the Media Library.
